He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his daughters, Alissa Shapiro (Dustin Blumenthal) and Rachel Shapiro; his grandchildren, Emma Blumenthal and Ryan Blumenthal; and his sister Barbara Shapiro (Mark Lewis).
