He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Charles, Nicky and Joan. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which was dear to his heart.
