He was predeceased by: his parents, Mallie Johnson and Melba Johnson; and his siblings, Don, Bobby Johnson, Jackie Attaway and Cathy Hatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Curlee Johnson; his sons, Richard Stephen Johnson (Ashley) and Eric Wayne Johnson (Jackie); his siblings, Ricky Johnson and Carol Kerr; and his grandchildren, Tayler and Jameson Johnson.
