She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Burch and Mandy Burch (Williams); her husband Thad Thomas Pate; her daughters, Janet Pate and Sherry Kay Sangster; her grandson Chris Sangster; her great grandchild Timber Johnson; and her siblings, R. H. Burch, Edward Eugene Burch, Margaret Linton, Allie Bea Williams and Ruby Bridges.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Shuler of New Berry, Lynn Hamlin (Jamie) of Crestview and Teresa Ann Johnson of Blountstown; her sister Else Price of Wewahitchka; her brother-in-law Elbert Williams; and her grandchildren, Bobby Sangster Jr., Melissa Maloy, Jason Sangster, Megan Yarbrough, Daniel Shuler, Raven Jacobs, Bryce Brown, Bradley Johnson and Derek Johnson. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
