She is survived by: her spouse Charles Dixon Matthews; her daughters, Margaret Ellen Matthews of Hartford and Marcia Matthews Hamel; her son-in-law Bruce Hamel of New Hampton; her siblings, Hazel Prouty and Donald Strader; her grandchildren, Andrea, Keith, Cora, Tessa, Ellis, Heather and Marc; and her great grandchildren, Lilliana, Wyatt and Juliana.
