He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forbes and Agnes Forbes; and his brother Raymond Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Rose Forbes; his daughters, Carol Forbes, Cathy Beale (Lewis) and Caren Forbes (Michelle); his stepchildren, Richard Nordaby (Tiffany), Rochelle Delapace (Christopher) and Karensue Matthews (John); his great grandchild His; his siblings, George Forbes (Doris) and Elaine Boszak (Lee) of Inverness; and his sister-in-law Beth Forbes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Howard's name to First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, 4950 Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
