He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Bruce and Viola Marjorie Elaine Smith (Tostenson); his wife Esther "Janice" Smith; his goddaughter Cynthia Plesner (Carl) of Leesburg; and his siblings, Kenneth Edward Smith (Kate) of Osage Beach, Joe Eric Smith (Jan) of Clermont and Joan Smith Carey (Chris) of Newark. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
