He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyle Kenney and Mary Kenney (Swett); his wife Sondra Maquillan Smith Kenney; his children, Timothy (Doreen Kenney), Mark Kenney (Lorraine Lockhart), Jeffery (Stacey Smith), Gregg (Patricia Smith), Glenn (Sonja Smith) and Shellie Cassidy; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Timothy Jr., Kourtney, Kristian, Jason, Cori, Lacey, Brent, Amanda, Jenney, Matthew, Tyler and William; and his brothers, Ronald, Rodney and Jerold. He was also cherished by 22 great grandchildren.
