He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne J. Tweedle and Ruby Tweedle; and his brother Delmar Tweedle. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Pat Tweedle; his grandchildren, Stephen Tweedle (Lori), Bobbi Deriso (Brian) and Katie Whitaker; and his great grandchildren, Cullen, Laura, Will Henry, Liam and Madigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or UF School of Pharmacy Scholarship fund.
