It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Scott of Belleview, Florida, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Scott and Patricia Dennis Scott; and his sister Nancy Curry. He is survived by: his wife Rita Hardbarger Scott; his children, Jeremy Scott (Heather), Justin Scott (Alisa) and Angel Sockwell (James); his grandchildren, Kyra, Michael, Brody, Brock (Jessie), Caleb, Noah, Breonna and Lyzerick; his great grandchild Brynlee; and his siblings, Carl Scott (Beth), Ron Scott (Teresa) and Barbara Rowland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family has created a GoFundMe me account and donations can be made in lieu of flowers to help cover funeral expenses.
