He is survived by: his wife Anabel Gonzalez Cardinez; his daughters, Jacqueline (Ricardo Jimenez), Joanna Cardinez-Nieves (Erick Nieves), Judy Cardinez-Harris (Gene Harris) and Kathy Ann (Carlos Chavarry); his grandchildren, Ricardo Jr., Justin, Julian, Nicolas, Cristian, Isabella, Carlos, Benjamin, Margaret and Patrick; and his brothers, Winston Cardinez (Hedy) and David Cardinez (Wally). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
