He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund F. Murphy, Sr. and Mary Josephine Murphy (Abely); his sister Janet Dineen; and his wife Mary Patricia (Driscoll). He is survived by: his sisters, Eleanor Murphy and Mary Alice Kelley; his children, Deirdre Ellen Genovese of Osterville, MA, Brian Christopher Murphy of Belleair, FL, Maura Patrice Nanosky (Michael) of Boca Raton, FL, Edmund Francis Murphy III (Jennifer) of Boston, MA, Palm Beach and Devin Jeremiah Murphy of Belleair, FL; his grandchildren, Michael Genovese, Christina Florkey (Scott), Matthew Genovese, Alyssa Nanosky, Michael Nanosky, Edmund Murphy IV (Riley), Michaela Murphy, Madison Murphy and Molly Murphy; and his great grandchild Mark Florkey. He is also survived by wife nearer to their children and grandchildren.
