She was predeceased by: her father Noble Kay Sr.; her husband John Jones, Sr.; her siblings, Thomas Kay, James Kay, Chaplin Noble Kay Jr. Arthur, Bobby Smith, Velma Harris, Jeanette Kay and Claudette Kay; her daughter Shirley Smith; her grandchildren, Ravan Gaskins, De'Bra Babb and John Jones III; and her great grandchild Tanya Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Jones (Valerie), John Jones (Brenda), Ricky Jones (Gwen), James Jones, Toni Brown, Vanessa Jones, Arlene and Renee Jones-Showalter (Scott); her brother Leon Smith; and her sister-in-law Florence Kay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
