She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Christian, Noel, Pauline (Junior), Imogene (Linton), Owen (Marcia), Wayne (Sylvia) and Hugh (Livina); her stepson Charles (Retha); and her sisters, Hilda Coleman, Evelyn Henry of England and Angela Blake-Francis of Jamaica. She was also cherished by her husband, who, sadly, was killed in a tragic automobile accident in 1973, leaving her to raise their six children as a single parent.
