He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Coney and Essie Coney. He is survived by: his son Clarence Coney, Jr. (Ashantae) of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, De'Coya, Jarvarous, Jamavous, Demarcus, Tamia, Ashantae, Kashia, C'leshia, Clarence, Terrence, Laqueen and Miracle Coney; his great grandchildren, Jarvarous Jr. and Avianna Coney; his sister Shirley Coney; and his grandchildren, De'coya, Jarnavous and Terrance.
