She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Mathews and Yvonne Rolling Mathews (Jit); and her brother Tyrone Mathews (Sam). She is survived by: her husband Alfred Kimmy Jenkins; her stepson Alfred Kimmy "Buddy" Jenkins (Melanie) of Branford, Florida.; her sisters, Terry Carnley (Rick) and Tiffany Liles (Tim) of Bell, Florida.; her grandsons, Danny Jenkins and Zander Curry; and her brothers-in-law, Guy Jenkins (Debbie) of Dunnellon, Robbie Jenkins (Cathy) of Perry and Jeff Jenkins (Dale) of High Springs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bell High School (930 S Main St, Bell, FL 32619).
As we gather to celebrate Tawnya, we will remember not only her incredible contributions to her community and family but the warmth and positivity she infused into our lives.
