He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie D. Allen and Renee M. Allen Hooks; and his stepmother Viola Allen Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Cannon Allen of Bell, FL; his children, Andrea Howey (Bill) of St. John, FL and Dwight Allen of Gainesville, FL; his siblings, Corkie Norman (Ronnie) of Lawtey, FL, Geraldine Baker (Floyd), Joe Allen of Jacksonville, FL and Billy Allen (Joann) of Gainesville, FL; and his granddaughter Julia Howey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vitas Hospice, High Springs, FL.
