He is survived by: his sons, Victor King and Shawn Sutton; his grandchildren, Victoria King, Vaughan King, Rhylee Pittman and Tahvie Pittman; his siblings, Linda Hawkins (Sutton), Johnny Earl Sutton, Glenn Sutton and Ronnie Ray Trotter; and his brother-in-law Willie Hawkins. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and lady friends.
