He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Christopher Patterson (Steven Treon), Brian Patterson (Sally Creel), Rod Patterson, Jr. (Rachel Patterson), Christian Case (Cassie Case) and Amanda Case; his grandchildren, Bryce, Wyatt and Shaelan; and his brother Jim Phillips (Lonnie Phillips).
