He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Zender and Hazel Zender; his wife Marleen Zender; and his siblings, Arthur, Earl Jr. and Carolyn Mcgough.

He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbi Rice and Rebecca Zender. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
