Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jason O'Neal Hewett of Bascom, Florida, who passed away at the age of 48, on December 9, 2024. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas Benjamin, Eva Mae Hewett, Robert Jefferson and Mamie Ruth Winget. He is survived by: his children, Kirsten Hewett, Kaylee Long (Lance) and Blayne Hewett; the mother of his children Melissa Hewett; his grandson Weston Colson; his parents, Nick Hewett and Linda Hewett; his brothers, Dennis Hewett (Kimberly) and Kelly Hewett (Cindy); and his close friend Heather Brown. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home (3960 W Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Circle Hill Baptist Church (7170 Circle Hill Rd, Sneads, FL 32460). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Circle Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (7170 Circle Hill Rd, Sneads, FL 32460).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marianna Chapel Funeral Home to help with Jason's funeral expenses.
