He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wheeler Southerland; his daughter Mary Beth Myers (Brian Thompson); his stepdaughters, Angela Lott Sirianni and Kayla Lott Gilkey; his siblings, Mary Ann Stalvey (Bobby), Roy "Stopper" Southerland (Teresa), Buddy Southerland (Sue) and Delane Southerland (Barbara); and his granddaughters, Macie and Cloee Myers. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren.
