Wilbur Helms Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Wilbur Helms of Bartow, Florida, whose life came to an end on February 22, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Helms and Juddie Helms; his wife Bertha Helms; his son Billy Helms; and his siblings, Doris Tucker, Betty Meyer, Robert Helms and Mack Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Wally Ray Helms (Wendy) of Wauchula, Leta Short (Russell) of Winter Haven and Cindy Richman (Rob) of Palm Bay; his daughter-in-law Carole Helms; his brother Rex Helms (Diane) of Fort Meade; and his grandchildren, Austin, Leigh-Anne, Tyler, Cody, Destiny, Adina, Brock, Moriah, Lacey, Kaila, Hope and Lindy. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green (4531 Hwy 17, Bowling Green, FL 33834). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
