It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wally Simpson (Bartow, Florida), who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simpson and Myrtice Simpson; his stepson Stanley Matthews; and his siblings, Ladonna Sayers, Sandy Norris, James Simpson and Billy Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Simpson of Bartow; his children, Kerri Simpson of Bartow, Robin Benfield (Jerry) of Phoenix City, AL, Shelley Maldonado (Rudy) of Lakeland and Don Barrow (Penny) of Phoenix City, AL; his sister Maudell Hughy (Gary) of Lakeland; his grandchildren, KC Simpson (Carrie) of Phoenix City, AL, Bryan Matthews (Ariel) of Carthage, NC, Brandon Crispell of Inverness and Stephen Maldanado of Orlando; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Simpson of Phoenix City, AL, Layla Simpson of Phoenix City, AL and Lily Matthews of Carthage, NC..
