He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gaffney and Verda Hamilton; his brother Cecil Ellis; and his close friend Magic. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gaffney of Bartow; his children, Valerie Smith (Jason Benefield) of Lake Wales and Michael Gaffney (Angela); and his siblings, Jeannie Davis of Jasper, GA, Betty Ivey of Auburndale, Freddy Trim (Marilyn) of Lake Wales, Johnny Gaffney of Auburndale and Mike Gaffney of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and many nieces & nephews.
