With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Nixon of Bartow, Florida, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dempsey Nixon; and her sister Ella McCabe. She is survived by: her children, Terry L. Hester (Terrell) of Lakeland, Clifford Hester (Wanda) of Satsuma, Dennis Sisco (Esther) of Bartow, Gloria Bamford (Phil) of Bartow and Kim McCulley of Winter Haven; and her niece Pam Horne. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
