He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Wernett and Anna "Hazel" Wernett (Metzger); and his siblings, Paul, Ralph, Harry Wernett and Catherine DeHaven.
He is survived by: his wife June Wernett of Bartow, FL; his daughters, Patricia Bankos of Winter Haven, FL, Connie Benninger of Allentown, PA and Roseann Yelles (Dean) of Northampton, PA; and his sisters, Janet Smith of Kunkletown, PA, Margaret "Peg" Laury of Lehighton, PA and Shirley Leinthall (Charles) of Summit Hill, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
