He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Gold and A. Rachel Gold; his brother Allen Gold; and his grandson Tayte Compton. He is survived by: his wife Penny Gold; his son Patrick Gold (Gold); his daughter-in-law Mindy; his granddaughter MaKenna; his daughter Pamela Reintges (Reintges); his grandchildren, Katie, Justin Gold and Rene Gold; his sister Cynthia Hurley; his nephew Sean Hurley; and his grandchildren, Colton Polson and Krystle Polson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please donate in Richard's memory to the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief of Maryland/Delaware.
