It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Peterson Jr. of Bartow, Florida, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R. Peterson, Sr. and Mary Duncan Peterson of Virginia; his wife Ruth M. Peterson of Bartow; his siblings, Jim Peterson (Bobbie) and Lynne Spears (Doyle) of Atlanta, GA; his children, Kathy Dowell (Timmy) of Rockwell, NC and Joseph Blanton (Shannon) of Rockwell, NC; his granddaughters, Samantha Smart (Matthew), Charli Burkhammer (Nate), Racheal Blanton and Camry Blanton; and his great grandchildren, Adeline and Violet.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bartow.
