He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pedro Almazan, and Isabel Almazan, Sr.; his wife Alicia De Leon Almazan; his children, Pedro "Pete" Almazan (Susan) of Lakeland and Martha Howell (Carl) of Bartow; his brother Sebastian "Chany" Almazan (Matilde) of Miami; his grandchildren, Vicki, Elizabeth, Curtis, Bryce (Tara) and Elise; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Levy, Uriah, Ari and Emery.

The family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association in leu of flowers.
