We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 91, Mary Mayfield in Bartow, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kornegay and Mattie Lou Kornegay (William Mayfield); her siblings, William Ray Kornegay and Mattie Lou; and her son-in-law Ron Porter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Legg Porter of Lake Wales, Cheryl Carlton (Pat) of Duette and Kim Wilson (Wade) of Bartow; her brother George "Tumpy" Kornegay (Doris) of Thomasville, GA; and her grandchildren, Candace Fay Whisenant, Ian Legg, Nathan Legg, William Carlton, William Wilson, Fay Nicole Wilson and Jeremy Casella. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
