She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Chandler Hayes and Guy Stokely Hayes; her siblings, Jeann Greenway and Tommy Hayes; and her grandson Sean Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Walter Harris Malcom; her daughters, Diane Reeder (Gene), Denise Miller (Frank) and Donna Burdette (Greg); her grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Laura Baxter, Melissa Baxter Simoni (Ben), Amanda Burdette Starling (Nick), Sarah Burdette, Kaitlin Burdette, Katie Miller, Bryan, Chris and Adam Reeder; and her siblings, Ellen Cook (William) and Joe Hayes.
