It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Monserrate Berrios of Bartow, Florida, born in Fort Pierce, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginio Perez and Maria; her former husband Benjamin Berrios; her daughters, Elizabeth Berrios, Janet Hughes (Travis Hughes), Stephanie Thomason (Jeremiah Thomason), Jennifer Berrios (Laura Mataya) and Jessica Berrios (Walter Turner Jr.); her grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony Ortiz, Kiely Hughes, Jeremiah Jr., Briana Thomason, Jonah Mataya and Marley Ramirez; her great grandchildren, Alivia and Josiah Ortiz; and also Perez-Rodriguez. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
