Joyce J. Griffin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 88, Joyce J. Griffin of Bartow, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joyce may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Johnson and Thelma Johnson; and her brothers, Mallory and Keith Johnson (Eugene "Sonny" Griffin, Jr.). She is survived by: her daughters, Gaye Sharpe (Steve) and Joy Kaiser (Terry); her grandchildren, Eric Sharpe (Amanda), Lindsay Boozer and Tyler Sharpe; and her great grandchildren, Cody and Kyli Boozer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

To honor her life, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's research on her behalf.
