With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ritchie (Bartow, Florida), born in Jackson, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Marty and Terry Ritchie; his sons, Shannon Ritchie and David Ritchie; and his stepdaughter Linda Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Waddell-Ritchie of Lakeland; his children, Heather Prashed of Naples, Terrie Perez of Winchester, KY, John Ritchie, Jr. of Flemingsburg, KY, Brent "Joey" Ritchie of Winchester, KY and Thomas Ritchie (Angie) of Winchester, KY; and his stepchildren, Diane Boone (Marcus) of The Hills, TX, Allen Waddell of Winter Haven and Michael Waddell (Peggy) of Prosper, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
