He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Summers DeWinkler of Lake Wales; his sons, Jeff DeWinkler (Donna) of Elmer City, WA, Erik DeWinkler of Tampa, FL, Roy "Gator" Mitchell (Ashton) of Lexington, SC, John DeWinkler (Vann) of McLean, VA and Rick Stepp (Allison) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Fred DeWinkler (Lori) of Opie, KS, Mary DeWinkler Bruce (Herbert) of Hiawassee, GA and Nancy DeWinkler Silvestri (Richard) of Fort Pierce, FL; and his grandchildren, Joel, Jordon, Justus, Nessa, Jackson, Bryce, Ava, Kipton, Kade and Tenley. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
