He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe L. and Mary E. Furlong (Mask). He is survived by: his wife Shelia; his children, Jerry "Gator" Furlong, Jr. and Shannon Martin; and his grandchildren, Zach Martin (Jessica) and Spencer Martin.
