It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Claude Chauncey of Bartow, Florida, born in Mayo, Florida, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hancil Milton and Essie Mae Chauncey (Perry); and his brothers, John, George, Wayne, Harry and Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara C. Harrison of Lake Garfield; his children, Jeffrey (Marcia), Rodney (Trish) and Lori (Michael); his grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Zachary, Samuel, Ciara and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Peyton and Aniyah; and his siblings, Milton, Sam, Jerry, Patricia Hingson, Janelle Starling and Mary Rose Fike.
