He is survived by: his wife Charldine "Charlie" Ayers of Bartow; his children, Judi Piburn (Mark) of Lakeland, Jerry Ayers of Minneapolis, KS and David Ayers (Jackie) of Fort Meade; and his grandchildren, Marci Miller of Denver, CO and Leighton Ayers (Jazmine) of Dighton, KS. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
