It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Heather Wolfe Godwin of Bartow, Florida, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Heather Wolfe is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Heather Wolfe's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Wolfe and Sandy Wolfe of Lakeland; her husband William "Billy" Godwin of Bartow; her children, Brady Godwin (Taylor) of Lakeland and Riley Godwin (Gregory) of Bartow; her brother Jason Wolfe (Shari) of Bartow; and her mother-in-law Jean Godwin of Bartow. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Heather's honor to Good Shepherd Hospice.
