He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Tidwell and Essie Tidwell (Simmons); and his son Amos Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tidwell (Kinsey) of Bartow; his children, Brenda Jenkins (Bill) of Ocala, Beverly Abbitt (James) of Babson Park and Charles Tidwell of Alturas; and his sisters, Pauline Whitaker and Hazel Raulerson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
