He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Slocum and Winifred Slocum (Searles); and his stepdaughter Elizabeth Snowball. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Donald A. Slocum (Marcia), Richard Slocum (Kimberly), David Slocum (Sarah) and Dale Slocum (Paula); his stepchildren, Christine Ivy (Jeff), Julian Rivera (Kelli) and Korrinn Rivera; his sister Betty Pollack (Michael); and his grandson Eagle Scouts.
