With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Alphonso Newkirk Sr. (Bartow, Florida), who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Cayla Newkirk of Alhambra, CA, Sylvia Newkirk-Ma of Los Angeles, CA, Ami Newkirk of Lakeland, FL and Alphonso Newkirk, Jr.; his sister Gwendolyn Summerlin of Pierce, FL; and his godchildren, Vista Suarez-Fletcher (Anthony) of Chicago, IL and Telly Suarez of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by eight Grand Children; and a host of nieces and nephews.
All persons attending the services must wear a face mask.
