He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hancock Shirley of Fort Meade; his children, Allen Shirley (Peggy), Janet Shirley Willis (Billy) of Fort Meade and Karen Shirley Hilleshiem (Gary) of Lakeland; his grandchildren, Ryan McAuley (Charity), Candice Riddle (Philip), Chelsee Nicholls (Bryant), Cody Shirley and Hunter Willis; and his great grandchildren, Cailyn, Carson, Charleigh, Mason, Avery, Bailey, Braylon, Matthew and Graeson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (307 E Broadway St, Fort Meade, FL 33841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade (307 E Broadway St, Fort Meade, FL 33841).
