We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2023, at the age of 94, Celesta Washington Crosby of Bartow, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Williams of Washington and Arie Hawkins Williams; and her son Reginald Crosby. She is survived by: her son Garry Crosby of Bartow, Florida; her sister Vendarae Lewis (Clif); her grandchildren, Tanisha Mathis, Fallon Crosby, Kennedi Crosby, Kendra Crosby and Julius Gerod Crosby; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Mathis, Danielmon Crosby and Jesse Lynn Crosby Bell (Beverly Pringle). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The city of Bartow proclaimed January 10, 2019, Celesta Washington Crosby Day in recognition of her long life and contributions to her hometown.
