With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Powell of Bartow, Florida, born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Griner and Dan Griner; and her brothers, Billy, Troy, Roscoe and Wesley Griner.

She is survived by: her husband Roger Powell; her children, Brian Griner, James Powell, Ricky Powell (Nacole) and Amanda Jernigan (Rickey); and her sisters, Jackie Gautney and Shirley Brooks. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
