He was predeceased by: his father Conrad Peterson; and his brother Alan Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Suzi; his children, Gary William Peterson of Rohnert Park, CA and Gretchen Martinez (JoFrank) of Petaluma, CA; his stepchildren, Erich Pike of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Beth Johnson (Jeff) of Jeffersonville, IN; his sisters, Lori Saldahl and Kathi Hansen; his grandchildren, Madeline, Max, Jake, Ashley, Corie, Cole and Rob; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Alexis; and his friend Jackie Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones' choice.
