She was predeceased by: her parents, William Furbeck and Ruth Furbeck (Gaige); and her husband William V. Hakes, III. She is survived by: her children, Curtis W. Hakes and Janice Hakes Leger (Bruce) of Barefoot Bay, Florida.; and her great grandchildren, Joel, Josiah, Jaden, Faith, Hope and Charity.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Eleanor's memory to the First Baptist Church of Barefoot Bay.
