She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Lang and William Lang; her brothers, Rex and Paul; her husband Steve Merritt; her children, Merritt-Zommer (Chicago) and Andrew Merritt (South Elgin); her friend Annette Bunck; her son-in-law Ken Zommer; her granddaughters, Gabrielle and Isabelle Zommer; her sisters, Marjorie Anthony, Helen Brunker and Irma Burger; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Brunker, Velma Lang and Ruth Todd. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
