He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kenneth and Eugene Ward (Bud). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Battles; his daughter Dana Lynn Pruetzel; his siblings, Shirley McCoy (Dave), John (Sharon) and David (Debbie); and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Battles (Carolyn) and Robert Battles (Edna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
